I'm D.A. Keeley, author of the Peyton Cote U.S. Border Patrol series. But I'm also John R. Corrigan and K.A. Delaney (THIS ONE DAY, Dec. 2013). I was thrilled in August 2013, when Midnight Ink won a brief auction, and I signed a three-book contract because I'm a huge fan of their books.
BITTER CROSSING (summer 2014) is the first novel in the Peyton Cote series. I hope you like Peyton as much as I do. She's a butt-kicking single mom / U.S. Border Patrol agent, who's tough, smart, and highly successful in a male-dominated profession. I also love the setting of these books -- Aroostook County, Maine -- a place that is close to my heart. I try to portray that region as authentically as I can.
